To ELBs there is a pair of horn nocks. Further bow making instructions won’t be added and we don’t take any responsibility for faults in the material that can’t be seen, neither for mistakes during the bow making. We ship such material that our colleagues could use for bow making in our workshop.

The bow shape is more or less prepared and the bow back is cleaned to one annual ring.
Your task is to achieve the required draw weight. The bowkit wood is quite a massive piece of osage orange.

- Osage Orange: it is native in North America and in the Carpathian Basin since the rule of Queen Mary Therese (18th century). In Europe this is the sole place to find this wood. Latin name: Maclura pomifera It is a middle high, deciduous, thorny tree. Its crop is similar to the orange, a wrinkled, yellowish green, hard, inedible ball. Osage orange is originated from North America.
